Constance E. (Turcotte) "Connie" Giza Anderson, 86, formerly of Millbury, died peacefully Sunday, Sept. 8th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
She leaves her husband, Francis W. Anderson; two children, Stephen P. Giza and his wife, Debbi of Paxton and Kathryn M. Blanchard and her husband, Joseph of Worcester, a daughter-in-law, Carol Giza of Acushnet,; seven grandchildren, John R. Giza and his wife, Shelby of Attleboro, Brett C. Giza and his wife, Terri of Fairhaven, Kristen E. Picard and her husband, Nate of Fairhaven, Matthew J. Giza and his wife, Jen of El Paso, TX, Michael Giza of Watertown, MA, Paul R. Blanchard of Holden and Kelley E. Blanchard, of NYC; great grandchildren, Jayda E. Picard, Genevieve L. Picard, Jameson Picard, Taryn E. Giza, Gavin Giza and Matthew S. Giza; one step great grandchild, Jordan Picard; a sister, Bernice F. Paterak of Portland, ME; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her 1st husband, John J. Giza who died in 1979, her son, John P. Giza, her parents, Philip J. and Evelyn A. (Girouard) Turcotte, a brother, Val E. Turcotte and a sister, Madeline M. Rutkiewicz.
Connie was a compositor at Worcester Envelope after retiring as a teacher in the Head Start Program in Worcester. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Connie's funeral will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Hospice, Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd. Worcester, MA 01602.
