WORCESTER Daniel E. Banach, 57 of 26 Richards St., formerly of Millbury, died Aug. 7th at his home, after being stricken ill.
He leaves his children, Daniel, Michael and Stacy Banach and Sean and Tina Gagliastre; a sister, Catherine M. Wilczynski of Sutton, two brothers, Anthony J. Banach of Spencer and Michael J. Chesna of Millbury; two grandchildren, Trevor Andrews and Selena Alvarado; his step-father, Anthony Chesna and his wife Dorothy of Millbury; his longtime friend and companion, Jeanie Gagliastre of Worcester. He is predeceased by his mother, Sabina (OTM)Rouke) Chesna.
Mr. Banach was a self-employed painter and loved fishing. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and he serving in the Vietnam War.
His calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11th in St. JohnTM)s Cemetery, Worcester.
