WORCESTER - David A. Brooks, 78, passed away on January 8, 2021 at UMass Hospital.
He leaves behind two sons Daniel A. Brooks and his wife Lori of Worcester and Eric C. Brooks and his partner Kris Koliss of Grafton, he also leaves two granddaughters Megan and Britany, two sisters, April Bickel and Christine Bott and her husband George of Millbury, a niece, as well as five nephews who loved him dearly.
He spent most of his life in Worcester where he was born, he graduated from St. Stephens High School, and then entered the Navy where he served for 4 years, following that he was a teamster for over 25 years and worked 10 years for the DPW of Worcester.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Victoria Brooks also of Worcester, as well as the love of his life Suzanne Mcanamy of West Boylston.
David loved music and animals especially Missy, as well as the occasional Keno game and going to the beach. To those who knew David he was a big jokester with a great sense of humor.
David has requested no services and to be cremated with his ashes scattered along the beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Sterling or Worcester Animal Shelters.
