MILLBURY - David F. Brown, 79, of 56A Sutton Rd., died Monday morning, October 15 in Lifecare Center of Auburn, 14 Masonic Circle, Auburn.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Evelyn T. (Bernard) Brown, 2 sons, William D. Brown of Holden, Richard P. Brown of Millbury, 2 daughters, Janet M. Snow of Grafton, Theresa E. Parr of Avondale, AZ; one sister Mary Heck of Millbury, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was born in Millbury, son of Frederick and Catherine (Holdban) Brown and lived in Millbury all of his life.
Mr. Brown was die reamer at Millbury High Carbon Wire for many years and retired 20 years ago. He was an Army veteran of WW II, serving is the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign and the Philippine Liberation.
Mr. Brown was volunteen firefighter at Engine 2 for many years. He was also a member of St. Brigid Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday, October 18, from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday October 17 in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
