SUTTON David J. Gilbert Sr., 66, died Thursday, August 04, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Rose M. (Leveillee) Gilbert; four children, David J. Gilbert Jr. of Worcester, Edward F. Gilbert and his wife, Donnalee of Sutton, Carol A. Wood and her husband, Christopher of Sutton and Scott A. Gilbert of Worcester; six grandchildren; a brother, George R. Gilbert of Millbury; three sisters, Patricia Gilbert of Millbury, Frances Bathgate of Sutton and Mary Rodriquez of Worcester; nephews and nieces.
He was a machinist at Allied Metal in Worcester before he retired and was an Army veteran during the Vietnam War.
Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
