SUTTON – David C. “Chubs” Grenier, 71, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 28th in his home.
David leaves his wife of 48 years, Diana S. (Chambers) Grenier; two children, David A. Grenier and his partner, Todd Banfill of Millbury and Dawn G. Tomaszewicz and her husband, Kevin of Sutton; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Hannah, Cody and Lori; two brothers, William Grenier and his wife, Joy and Allen Grenier and his wife, Judy all of Sutton; a sister, Janice Lemoine and her husband, Andre of South Grafton; brother and sister-in-law’s, Terry and Elaine Bush and Bruce and Donna Sinkus all of Sutton; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Beatrice (Maranda) Grenier.
David worked 40 years for New England Power Company. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving his country for four and half years. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Family and friends will honor and remember David’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, July 3rd from 9 to 11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon on Tuesday, July 3rd in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Veteran’s organization of the donor’s choice.
