David E. Hennessey

MILLBURY – David E. Hennessey, 66, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday August 12th. 

David leaves his sisters, Lori Hennessey and Holly Bouley and her husband, Michael all of Millbury. He also leaves nieces, Michelle Carreiro, Marley Hart, Abigail Angell, Hannah Wool; nephews, Paul Bouley and Alex Bouley; seven great nephews and nieces. He also leaves his roommate, Ester Kamiri and several close friends. David is predeceased by his parents, Everett and Pauline (Johnson) Hennessey. 

David Graduated from Millbury High School in 1976. He also attended Quinsigamond Community College.

David worked for many years at El Morocco Restaurant, and then General Motors in Framingham. David spent many years working in healthcare and was beloved by all who worked beside him. His hobbies included restoring his 1967 Camaro, which he loved driving on Cape Cod. David also loved traveling, and particularly loved Puerto Rico. He enjoyed many years of going for walks with his dog Cocoa, now deceased.

Family and friends are invited to remember David’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday August 22nd from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

His funeral service will be celebrated following the visitation at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with his burial to be private.
