David Moore

David William Moore, 67, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 13th at home surrounded by loved ones.

David leaves his wife of 43 years, Debra M. (Rajotte) Moore; two children, Jennifer L. Moore and partner, Dewey M. Sasser and Jonathan T. Moore and his wife, Erin, all of Sutton; five grandsons; Carrick and Gareth McCullough, Connor, Isaac, and Pruitt Moore; 3 siblings; L. Thomas Moore and his wife, Irene, Maureen Valentine-Mara, and Kathleen Lapinsky and her husband, Robert; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Priscilla (Giard) Moore.

David was born in Worcester and graduated from St. John's High School in 1967 and Worcester Boy's Trade School in 1969. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years during the Vietnam Era and served for 31 years in the 104th Fighter Wing at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, Massachusetts. David retired as a truck driver from Yellow Freight in 2009. He was a charter representative for Boy Scout Troop 131 in Sutton, a member of Charles F. Minney VFW Post in Millbury and Dudley Gendron American Legion Post in Sutton. David was the commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter and Vietnam Veterans of America in Northbridge, and a member of the Knights of Columbus of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Sutton.

He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and, most of all laughing with and enjoying his family and friends.

David's calling hours will be held on Monday, June 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 10:30 am in St. Mark's Catholic Church, 356 Boston Road, Sutton. Burial with military honors will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
