Debby L. Settle

Debby L. Settle, 65, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester, MA. 

Debby was born on June 9, 1958 in Holyoke, MA to Richard Roland Cardinal and Elizabeth Cardinal Crooker.  Debby grew up in Hudson, NH graduating from Alvirne High School.  She called Rochdale, Massachusetts, Nashua, New Hampshire and Anchorage, Alaska home.  She retired from a career in supporting others through administrative assistant roles in 2020. 

She loved her family and leaves behind many family and friends to include her aunt, Lana Greene of Westfield, MA.  Her step-mother, Gertrude Cardinal of Pompano Beach, FL and brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Jaqueline Cardinal of Nashua, NH.  Her best friend, Cindy Richardson of Anchorage, AK and her step-siblings Tracey Lessard, Jeff West, and Karl West of Santa Ana, CA, as well as her son and daughter-in-law Chris and Colleen Settle of Rochdale, MA and step-daughter and her husband Jenn and Adam Duquette of Nashua, NH.

She also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces and nephews to include Cedric Richardson, Aaron and Stacy Nickerson, Ali and Wayne Pearson, Kara and Hanna Cardinal, McKenzie, Madelyn and Mason Settle and Wyatt Duquette.  Her beloved cat, Mr. Max, will also miss her very much.

Debby was predeceased by her parents, Richard Roland Cardinal and Betty Cardinal Crooker, her sister Robin Cardinal, Marjorie DeLizza, and Donna Majkowski.

We invite family and friends to join us on August 19, 2023 at 67 Concord St, Nashua NH.  We will have calling hours from 12:00-4:30pm and a celebration of life with light refreshments and an opportunity to share stories and memories of Debby from 4:30-6:00pm.  If you would like to attend, please reach wurlmachine@aol.com to let us know an approximate arrival time to help us coordinate the afternoon.
