LEICESTER Debra J. (Riani) Powers, 50, of 20 Lake View Ave., died Saturday, Feb. 10th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
Her husband, Dean J. Powers died in 1986. She leaves a son, Derek J. Powers; her mother, Albina R. (White) Loader Riani of Millbury; three sisters, Beverly Olsen of Putnam, CT, Violet Liljestrand of Troy, NH and Sandra R. Casale of Littleton, MA; five brothers, Dennis Riani of Millbury, Roger Riani of Sutton, Ronald Loader of Spencer, Joseph Loader of Northboro and Alfred Loader of Millbury; her dear friend, Smitty; many nephews and nieces and her seven cats. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her father, Joseph F. Riani. She graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1974.
Debra formerly was as a bookkeeper for Data General Inc. in Westborough.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
