LEICESTER Dennis P. Atchue, 65, of 320 Rawson St., died Monday, Aug. 22nd in the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, R.I.
He leaves his former wife, formerly Rosemary (Dill) of Brewster, N.Y.; four brothers, Donald Atchue of Gardner, Albert Atchue of Spencer, Kenneth Atchue of Auburn and David Nordstrom of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Barbara Gagne of Millbury, Janet DiPadua of Spencer and Sandra Witkes of Millbury; his step-father, Roy Nordstrom of Worcester; nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. He also leaves a long time friend Billie Hisoire of Grafton. He is predeceased by a brother Lawrence Atchue Jr., who died in 2001. He was born in Worcester, son of Lawrence T. Atchue Sr. and Helena D. LaCava. He graduated from Worcester Trade High School in 1962.
Mr. Atchue worked for General Motors in Framingham before he retired. He now worked for R.A. Graham Inc. in Worcester. He was an army veteran from 1962 to 1964. He was a local breeder of Saluki dogs.
Calling hours will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Please omit flowers.
