MILLBURY / WORCESTER – Derek W. Hamilton, 45, of Boston, formerly of Worcester and Millbury, died Saturday, Oct. 18th after suddenly being stricken ill.
He leave his father, William J. Hamilton and his step-mother, Sheila A. Hamilton of Millbury; a sister, Sherri A. Kalil Hamilton of Worcester; a brother, Jason W. Hamilton and his mother, Carol Kalil Hamilton both of South Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Kalil of Worcester. He was born and raised in Worcester and now lives in Boston for the last 15 years.
Derek was a barber in Lexington and other Boston shops. He graduated from North High School in Worcester and then graduated from a barber school in Waltham.
His Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22nd in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Mulhane Home for Funerals, in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
