Diane E. Ciesluk

MILLBURY – Diane E. (Ekman) Ciesluk, 83, known for her loving nature and simply being a sweet lady, passed away peacefully on January 1st.

Diane leaves her three children- Janet Bergeron and her husband Jim of Millbury, MA, Karen Gutterman and her husband Andrew of Belmont, MA, and Richard Ciesluk and wife Tisia of Grafton, MA. She also leaves her five grandchildren James, Natalie, Julia, Isaac and Brayden. Her brother Carl Ekman and his wife Pam of Charlton, MA. Her ex-husband Edwin Ciesluk of Lake Wales, FL as well as her niece and two nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Gustaf and Adeline Ekman. 

Diane lived in New Sweden, ME and moved with her parents to Worcester, MA and later Oxford, MA where she graduated from Oxford High. After graduating Becker Junior College she became a medical secretary at Norton Company before getting married and devoting her life to being a wife and a mom. Diane loved her family most of all. Spending time with her kids and grandkids was what she lived for. She loved trips to Maine, especially Perkins Cove and Nubble Lighthouse. She was kind to everyone she met and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Diane’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, Jan. 9th from 9 to 11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
