MILLBURY Diane M. (Sampson) Kasputis, 55, of 103 Grafton St., died Thursday, Dec. 13th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.
She leaves her husband, Edward C. Kasputis Jr.; a son, Ryan E. Kasputis of Worcester; two daughters, Laura C. Kasputis and Elizabeth Anne Kasputis both of Millbury; her mother, Alice (Oster) Sampson of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Elaine wife of Frank Bilotta of Westminster and Betty wife of Brian OTM)Keefe of Naples, FL; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her father, Thomas Sampson and a sister, Jean Nelson.
Diane graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1970 and then from Worcester State College in 1974. Diane and her husband owned and operated Carpet Buyers Outlet in Webster. They and their son had worked together there for eight years. Previously she taught at the Assumption Elementary School in Millbury, St LeoTM)s School in Leominster and also in other schools in the Worcester area, for 25 years. Diane was a loving wife, mother and friend. She will always live in the hearts and minds of those who loved her and will be missed forever by those who were lucky enough to have known her.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. PhilipTM)s Cemetery, Grafton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday Dec. 17th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
