Diane Wilson

MILLBURY - Diane S. (DeBoer) Wilson, 74, also known as “Meme”, died July 2nd at home with her loving family by her side, after a long illness.

Diane was born in Whitinsville and is predeceased by her parents George and Hilda DeBoer, a brother Jimmy, a sister Rona, her two sons David Putnam and Robert Herbert and her ex-husband Richard Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter and best friend Tammy Putnam and her partner Steve Willette, her brother Robert DeBoer and his wife Grace and a sister Carol Leyda. She is also survived by her five grandchildren David Frazier, Tianna Mellen and her husband Kris, Madysn Willette-Putnam, Morgan Willette-Putnam, Nicole Lyons; four great grandchildren Illiana Frazier, Mikalina Hackett, Kristopher and Benjamin Mellen and her precious cat, Keeper whom she loved.

Di was a homemaker, bartender, enjoyed gardening, the beach and parties at Tammy’s.  She loved going to Old Orchard Beach, with her family.  She loved the ocean, deep-sea fishing and Go Kart Racing with Tianna.  She was full of adventure but mostly loved her family.  Di was always so very thankful for all the love, time and care Tammy and Tianna put in at the end.  The family would like to thank Metrowest Hospice, especially Liz and Sara, you were great.

Family and friends will honor and remember Di’s life privately.
