AUBURN – Donald E. Covel, Jr. 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 16th in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Marilyn Covel, and his brother-in-law Raymond Kagels
He leaves behind and will be deeply missed by his wife, Patricia Bartelloni-Covel, his children Vanessa Liseno and her husband Kyle, Ashley Reinholt and her husband John, his stepchildren Craig, Shana, and Oliver Bartelloni and his significant other Amanda Demarco. His grandchildren Matthew, Erin, Lily, Daniel, and Cora Bartelloni, Isabella Desouza, Aiden, Owen, and Makenzie Reinholt, and Parker Liseno. His siblings Joyce Kagels, Lois Covel, and Joanne Meier and her husband David. His uncle Bob and aunt Jackie and many nieces, nephews, cousins, best friend Gene Sessler, and his constant furry companions Gracie and Cindy.
Donald was born in Worcester and raised and educated in Northborough. He was a graduate of Algonquin Regional high school, attended Northeastern University in Boston, and received his bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University. Don was an avid swimmer, and piano player, he loved hunting, gardening, playing sports, and doing home improvement projects. Most of all he loved being with his family and spending time with his wife and pet Gracie Rose.

Family and friends are invited to gather for Don’s funeral service on Tuesday, April 25th at 11 a.m. in Faith Church, 22 Faith Ave in Auburn. His burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery in Northborough.
