MILLBURY Donald A. Stockwell, 75, of 12 Leslie Lane, died Friday, Oct. 1st in Radius HealthCare of Millbury.
He leaves his wife of 27 years, Beverly M. (Watson) Chapman Stockwell; a sister, Marion Stockwell of Westbrough; two sisters-in-law, Loretta Watson of Ware and Audrey Watson of Bristol, Ct.; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by several brothers and sisters. He was born in Worcester, son of Earl W. and Florence G. (Johnson) Stockwell.
Mr. Stockwell was a custodian at Millbury Memorial High School, retiring in 1987, because of a disability. Previously he worked at Mekontrol ME in Northborough. He was a member of the National Guard, serving in the 181st infantry.
He was a member of the First Congregational Church, the Millbury Council on Aging and was an associate member of the Picard American Legion Post in Northborough. He enjoyed lunch and social activities at the Millbury Senior Center.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4th in the funeral home.
