MANCHAUG Donald K. White Jr., 69, of 147 Whitins Rd., died Monday, Oct. 11th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Marjorie H. (Hassett) White; a sister, Gail J. Salois of Millbury; two nephews Joseph L. and Donald K. Salois both of Sutton; six nieces, Barbara J. Young, Tracy Baroni and Kim Gilbert all of Millbury, Christine McMahon and Nancy Norquist both of Oxford and Robin Proctor of Dudley; grand nephews and grand nieces and his dog Misty. He was born in Worcester, son of Donald K. White Sr. and Dorothy A. (McLaughlin) White and lived in Millbury and Leicester, before moving to Sutton.
Mr. White was a foreman at John J. Nissen Baking Co. in Worcester for 43, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Singletary Rod & Gun Club, the American Riffle Association, the Sutton Golden Age and the Friends of the Sutton Elders. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. WhiteTM)s funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 15th, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14th, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Ma. 01701.
