SUTTON – Donna M. (Burgess) Fay, 53, died Saturday, June 26th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Her husband, Steven D. Fay died in 2008. She leaves her son, Benjamin A. Fay of Sutton and her step-son, Todd D. Rochefort of Taunton; her mother, Agnes I. (Murdoch) Burgess of Westborough; three brothers, Paul J. Burgess of Worcester, Robert F. Burgess of Westborough and Dean M. Burgess of Westerly, RI; a sister, Mary E. Lane of Townsend; nieces and nephews. She was born in Brighton and is predeceased by her father, Francis P. Burgess.
She graduated from Westborough High School in 1974 and from Salters Secretarial School in 1976. She was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables, and loved vacationing at the family home in Misquamicut, RI.
A Funeral Mass will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 11th in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Rd. in Sutton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, in care of Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Please reference on the check, "for research".
