Donna J. Dion Mezynski, 73, died Wednesday, Nov. 25th in the MetroWest Medical Center in Natick.
She leaves two sons Andrew and Thomas Dion, and 3 grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers Benjamin and Roger Mezynski.
Donna grew up in Whitinsville, and graduated from Northbridge High School earning varsity honors as a 3 sport athlete, and later inducted into the Northbridge High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Donna raised her sons on the Cape before moving to Millbury where she was an active member of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
Donna's funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday Dec. 3rd in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury.
Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in private in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Whitinsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Donna's name may be made to the Northbridge High School Athletic Department, 427 Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville, MA 01588.
