Doris L. (Benoit) Ashton, 77, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Dodge Park Rest Home in Worcester.
Dori's husband, William M. Ashton died in 2004. She leaves two daughters, Robin Ashton of Delray Beach, FL and Lorrie Thompson and her husband, Francis of Millbury; four grandchildren, Julia and Olivia Duca and William and Eben Thompson; a sister in law, Sally Maccini of West Palm Beach, FL. She is predeceased by her parents, Leo and Louise (Paille) Benoit.
Dori worked as a buyer for the former Felter's Company in Millbury and many years at Service Merchandise in Auburn. She enjoyed spending many years on the lake with her family and friends.
Dori's Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15th at 10 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery in Millbury. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TX, 38105.
