MANCHAUG – Doris M. (Barrette) Guertin, 85, died Wednesday, May 6th in the Radius Health Care Center in Worcester.
Her husband, William J. Guertin died in 1997. She leaves two daughters, Linda A. Guertin of Manchaug and Sandra M. Alger of Sutton; a son, John W. Guertin and his wife Pamela of Worcester; four grandchildren, Jaime Hawley, Lisa Alger, Jeremy and Laura Guertin; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Sadie Hawley; a sister, Phyllis Belliveau of Worcester; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph and Laura (Garneau) Barrette.
Mrs. Guertin was a member of St. Anne's Church in Manchaug and had worked at the Sutton voting poles.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 9th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, 29 Main St. in Manchaug. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery, Sutton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 8th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
