OXFORD / MILLBURY – Doris M. (Legassey) Perron, 88, formerly of Millbury, died Saturday, May 17th in the Lanessa Extended Care in Webster.
Her husband, Raymond L. Perron died in 2006. She leaves a son, William D. Perron and his wife, Denise of Millbury; a daughter, Sandra L. Packard of Shrewsbury; a grandson, Scott O. Packard and his wife Melissa of Hudson and a great granddaughter, Avery Packard of Hudson. She was born in Grafton and is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Helen (Millette) Legassey her sisters, Evelyn Pugilia, Gertrude Legassey and Clara Szerlag, two brothers, Frederick and Adelard Legassey.
Doris worked at the US Envelope Co. before she retired. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her dogs. The family would like to thank the staff at Lanessa Extended Care for their compassionate care.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21st in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. in Worcester. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
