GRAFTON / WORCESTER – Doris M. (Perkins) Roy, 95, died Tuesday, Dec. 29th in the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough.
Her husband, Alfred J. Roy died in 1986. She leaves a daughter, Elaine and her husband, Donald Tomasetti of Milford; two sons, Raymond A. Roy and his wife, Ginger of Worcester and Paul L. Roy and his wife, Fran of Florida; many foster children; two sisters, Arlene Shnette of Shrewsbury and Shirley Giddings of Concord, NH; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Shrewsbury and is predeceased by her parents, Roscoe and Gertrude (Oliver) Perkins.
Doris enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 2nd from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 17 Waterville St. in North Grafton. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday Jan. 2nd prior to the Funeral Mass, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101.
