MILLBURY Doris M. (Leary) Sclar, 82, of 15 Manor Rd., died Wednesday, Oct. 29th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
Her husband, Hyman J. Sclar died in 1995. She leaves three sons, Barry B. Sclar, Wayne R. Sclar, and James Sclar all of Millbury; two sisters, Pearl Hanratty of Millbury and Olive Hickory of Falmouth; ; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Barbara J. Ianniccheri, two brothers Charles and Robert Leary and a sister Vivian Frazier predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles L. and Cora (Gaucher) Leary.
Mrs. Sclar was a former school bus driver for the town of Millbury and formerly worked for Telecron in Worcester. She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church. She enjoyed golfing and bowling and was an avid card player.
The funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 31st. from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St.. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30th in the funeral home.
