Doris Taft

MILLBURY - Doris M. Taft,86, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022.  Born to the late Arthur A. Fisette and Beatrice M. (Bourassa) and she lived in Millbury, MA most of her life.

She worked at Worcester County National Bank, Shawmut Bank and Fleet Bank until 1996.  She loved making puzzles and loved her Soap Shows on TV.

She is survived by her two daughters, June (Doud) Pope and her husband Steven S. Pope from Douglas, Ma and Sandra (Thomas) Gardner and her husband Terry Gardner from Peoria, AZ.  She also leaves behind five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother Walter Fisette of Manchester, CT, and Edward and his wife Nancy Fisette of Alburg, VT, and her sister-in -law Kathleen Fisette of Wells, ME.  She also leaves behind her nephew and nieces.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate and remember Doris’ life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, Dec. 8th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

Her graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 9th at 11 a.m. in Central Cemetery, West Street in Millbury.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
