MILLBURY Doris V. (Lebel) Tarckini, 91, formerly of 307 Millbury Ave., died Friday, May 19th in Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, Worcester.
Her husband, Emil C. Tarckini died in 1989. She leaves a daughter, Barbara M. Deschenes of West Boylston and a son Emil C. "Sonny" Tarckini Jr. of Shrewsbury; a brother, Ambrose Lebel and his wife, Leona of Millbury; a sister-in-law Loretta Fahey of Avon, CT; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Millbury, and is predeceased by her parents, John A. and Louisa M. (Adams) Lebel, two brothers, Arthur Lebel and Lawrence Lebel.
Doris was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards and bingo and loved to crochet. She and her husband traveled extensively and in their retirement wintered in Englewood, Florida. She was a life long resident of Millbury and member of St. BrigidTM)s Church, the Millbury Council on Aging, for over 20 years and a former member of the Millbury Golden Age Club. She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her culinary and entertaining skills and her deep love of her family.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 23rd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 22nd in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, One River St., Millbury, MA 01527.
