Doris E. (Sieghardt) White, 92, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Doris leaves a daughter, Ingrid White of Detroit; a son, Lutz Huber of Germany; a niece, Sandy Smith of Worcester; her closest and cherished friend, Kathy Blash of North Oxford; her close companion and caregiver Lee Army of Millbury; two grandchildren Petra and Frank Huber of Seattle , Washington; Stephen Blash and Jamie Blash-Arsenault, whom she fondly referred to as her "other grandchildren."
She is predeceased by a son, Ron White of India.
In 1972 Doris became the office manager at Automatic Rolls Of New England, a small, ten- person, local bakery which she was instrumental in building into the large, successful, 160-person company it has become. Her impeccable office skills made the office what it is today. It was often said by her peers, "Every office should have a Doris White." Her co-workers became her extended family. She retired reluctantly in 2009 at the age of 89.
Doris was passionate about animals and contributed to numerous animal rights organizations. In lieu of flowers, we know Doris would prefer contributions in her name to the World Wild Life Fund, 1250 Twenty Fourth Street, North; West Washington, DC. 20077-7789. -
