Dorothy A. (Hairyes) Amour, 82, of Sutton, formerly of South Grafton, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, after being stricken ill.
Her husband, George Amour died in 2009. She leaves two sons, Michael Amour of Mayer, AR and Daniel Amour of Pompano Beach, Florida; a daughter, Brenda A. Gauvin of Sutton; two sisters, Isabelle Lions of Millbury and Gladys Hughes of Webster; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Loretta (Minney) Hairyes a daughter, Linda Connolly who died in 1997 and a sister, Marie Lemay. She has lived in this area since 1929.
Dorothy worked in the meat department of Goretti's Super Market in Millbury for 35 years, retiring in 1991.
Private burial will be in Howard Cemetery in Sutton. Mulhane Home for Funerals, in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
