MILLBURY - Dorothy M.(Viera) Wilbur, 83 of 59 Oak Pond Ave., died Friday, June 1 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, after being stricken ill at home.
She leaves two sons, Joseph F. Wilbur with whom she lived in Millbury and John F. Wilbur of Ft. Lauderdale. Florida; a daughter, Ginny H. Picking of Millbury; a brother, Joseph, Viera of Worcester; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A sister, Virginia Whittaker of Millbury predeceased her. She was born in Milford, daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Smith) Viera and has lived in Millbury most of her life.
Mrs. Wilbur worked at Felter Co. and Buck Brothers for many years before retiring.
She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church.
The funeral will be held Monday, June 4, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. A calling hour will be Monday, June 4 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
