MILLBURY – Earl E. Carrignant, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 1st at the Life Care Center in Auburn.
His wife, Mary E. (Green) Carrignant, died in 1998. He leaves a son, Robert G. Carrignant and his wife, Elizabeth of Millbury; a daughter, Jean M. Carrignant of Millbury; grandsons, Joshua and Patrick; two brothers, Kenneth Carrignant and his wife, Judy and Robert Carrignan and his wife, Helen all of Millbury; nephews and nieces. He was born in Northbridge and is predeceased by his parents, Emile and Rose (Malbouf) Carrignant.
Earl worked in the Dying Department at the former Felters Company in Millbury for 40 years before he retired in 1994. He was a former youth basketball coach in Millbury.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 4th in the funeral home. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
