MILLBURY Edward J. Ahaesy Jr, 76, of 26 Linda Ave., died Sunday, Sept. 25th in Radius Health Care Center of Millbury.
His wife, Jane V. (Urban) Ahaesy died in 2003. He leaves a brother-in-law, Chester W. and his wife, Mary D. Urban of Millbury; two nephews, Stephen J. Urban of Millbury and David F. Urban of Malden; a niece Margaret Urban of Millbury. He was born in Worcester, son of Edward J. and Mary (OTM)Toole) Ahaesy.
Mr. Ahaesy was a Supervisor at Lindberg Heat Treating in Worcester, before retired. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War and he is a Deputy Sheriff in Worcester County and a member of the Charles F. Minney VFW Post in Millbury.
His funeral will be held Thursday Sept. 29th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28th in the funeral home.
