MILLBURY - Edward R. "Mac" McGrath, 81, died Monday September 3, 2012, Labor Day, in the Life Care Center in Auburn.
His wife, Marion M. (Deming) McGrath died in 2002. He leaves two sons, Patrick F. McGrath and his wife, Michelle of Millbury and Edward D. McGrath of Millbury; four grandchildren, Angela, Amanda, Alisha and Patrick Jr.; four great grandchildren, Angelo, Domenic, Savana and Tatiana; a sister, Patricia R. Zawistowski and her husband, Chester of Millbury; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary M. (Watchhorn) McGrath.
Mr. McGrath was a self-employed home builder and carpenter for most of his life.
His calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.
