MILLBURY Edward J. Trombowicz Sr., 55, of 92 MacArthur Dr., a loving husband and devoted father, died Thursday, Oct. 13th after being stricken ill while driving on Rt. 20, in Auburn.
He leaves his wife of 26 years, Regina (Wisniewska) Trombowicz; a son, Edward J. Trombowicz Jr. his mother, Beatrice (Cristo) Trombowicz, a sister, Sandra wife of Robert LTM)Heureux, nieces Kayla and Kimberly LTM)Heureux and nephew and godson, Jason LTM)Heureux all of Millbury. He also leaves a sister and brother-in-law and nephews in Poland and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Millbury. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his father, Edward J. Trombowicz, who died in 1979. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1969 and then attended Fisher College and Becker Junior College, where he received a degree in business.
Mr. Trombowicz worked for Allied Waste Co. in Auburn for the past six years and previously worked for Polar Corp. in Auburn. He was a Navy veteran from 1969 to 1973 and served in Vietnam. He was an avid lover of sports. He was a loving husband and devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His forever smile and happy ways will be forever missed.
His funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 17th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct 16th, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Edward J. Trombowicz Sr. Scholarship Fund, in care of Millbury Memorial High School, 12 Martin St., Millbury, MA 01527.
