WORCESTER / MILLBURY Eileen F. (Conlon) Picard, 65, formerly of Millbury, died Wednesday, April 22nd in the Christopher House in Worcester.
Her husband, Romeo P. Picard died in 1992. She leaves two daughters, Lisa-Marie wife of John Holland of Laconia, NH and Susan M. wife of Michael Costanza of Douglas; a son, David P. Picard and his wife Elizabeth of Auburn; her best friend, Martin Gardner of Worcester; six grandchildren, Jillanne and Justin Holland, Kelsey Costanza, Coleman and Zoe Picard and Samantha Picard. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, James and Elsie Conlon, a son Michael J. Picard, two sisters, Mary Picard and Catherine Gardner.
Eileen worked at the former Big Discount in Worcester before retiring in 1994. Before her illness, she enjoyed spending time in Wells, Maine, trips to Fox Woods and travel. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 25th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. JohnTM)s Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 24th in the funeral home.
