MILLBURY Elaine R. (Hicks) Warren, 85, of 12 Highland Ave., died Monday Jan. 30th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Worcester.
Her husband, Arthur L. Warren died in 2004. She leaves a step-son, Dennis A. Warren of Auburn, a sister, Maxine J. Tower of Whitinsville; nephews and nieces, among which is a niece JoAnn Agurkis of Worcester. She was born in Millbury, and is predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Laura (LaCrosse) Hicks, and three sisters, among which is Eunice Agurkis and four brothers. She graduated from Millbury High School in 1941.
Mrs. Warren was employed at Sprague Electric Co. in Ashland, before she retired and was previously employed at the Parker Manufacturing Co in Worcester. She was a member of the Millbury Council on Aging.
Her funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 3rd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2nd, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River St., Millbury, MA 01527.
