MILLBURY – Eleanor L. "Betsy" (Hayward) Hall, 90, died Saturday, March 7th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
Her husband, Henry F. Hall died in 1995. She leaves a daughter, Donna L. DiGiulio and her companion, Walter Adamski of Charlton; three sons, Joseph W. Hall and his wife, Linda of South Carolina, David W. Hall and his wife, Debbie of Houston, TX and Richard G. Hall and his companion Monique Tripaldi of Millbury; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Helen Erickson Hayward of Millbury; many nephews and nieces. She was born in Millbury and is predeceased by her parents, Warren and Pearl (Sibley) Hayward, a son, Robert Hall, a sister, Ruth Kupcinskas and a brother, Harold "Pete" Hayward.
Betsy was a member of the Millbury Federated Church. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and loved to be outside gardening and mowing the lawn with her John Deere tractor and celebrating the 4th of July, with her family and friends, at the Hayward Farm.
Due to renovations at her church, the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12th in the First Congregational Church, 148 West Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
