Elizabeth Betty Elliott

MILLBURY – Elizabeth “Betty” Lou (Bristol) Elliott, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 24^th surrounded by her family.  

Betty leaves a son, Kenneth John Elliott of Millbury; six grandchildren, Adam J. McClintock and John W. McClintock, Heather L. Stoddard, Ryan T. Boutilier, Jacquelynn E. Gillis and Duncan M. Elliot; six great grandchildren Donald, Adam, Jack, Ian, Hayden and Nola.  She is predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Elliott, her daughter, Lynn Boutilier, her father, Lou Bristol, her mother, Angelee Richardson and a sister-in-law, Barbara Rockwood.   

Betty loved going to the casino, playing bingo, and Keno.  She also loved to travel with her husband.  They went on numerous cruises, and trips all over the world.  Betty worked many jobs over the years but mostly in the human resource department at Sears.  She was in the Millbury High School Drum Corp and enjoyed playing the piano.   Betty was a member of the Chester P. Tuttle Post 279 in Auburn, where she served as past president and in many other roles. She always had a smile on her face and cherished time with her family.      

Family and friends are invited to remember Betty’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Monday, Jan. 29^th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Her funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 30^th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
