MILLBURY- Elizabeth T. (Maynard) Joinville, 80, of 35 Wheelock Ave., died Monday, March 17th in University Commons in Worcester, after a long illness.
She leaves a son, Bernard P. "Butch" Joinville and his wife Paula of Worcester; two sisters, Ann wife of Donald Bercume of Oxford and Jeannette Chambers of South Carolina, formerly of Millbury; two grandchildren, Gregory P. Joinville and his wife Megan and Jeffrey A. Joinville and his wife Nicole Boyda all of Worcester; three great granddaughters, Kyla, Brenna and Leah; many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her companion of 46 years, Roy F. Erickson. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William J. and Irene C. (Chaput) Maynard.
Mrs. Joinville worked at Norton Company in Worcester for 20 years, before she retired. She was an avid bingo player and loved her grandchildren. The family would like to thank UMASS Memorial Hospice and University Commons for the wonderful and thoughtful care that Elizabeth received from them.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, March 20th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a funeral service at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private in St. Brigid's Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 19th in the funeral home.
