MILLBURY Ella R. (Russell) Grout, 97, of 3A Beach St., died Monday, March 28th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
Her husband, William F. Grout Jr. died in 1986. She leaves two nieces, Kathleen LeBel of New Hampshire and Karen Howard of Grafton; a great nephew, Kelvin and his wife Nina Howard of Millbury and three great nieces, Jenifer Tedcastle of New Hampshire, Christine LeBel of California and Korin Howard of Cape Cod. She was born in Ireland, daughter of George and Ella (Murphy) Russell and has lived in Millbury most of her life.
Mrs. Grout teller at the Millbury Savings Bank for many years, retiring in 1975. She previously worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in Worcester. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Millbury Historical Society.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31st in the First Congregational Church, 148 West Main St., Millbury. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 30th in the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of the First Congregational Church, 148 West Main St., Millbury, MA 01527.
