WORCESTER-Elsa V. (Johnson) Hokanson, 87, of 9734 Pocono St., Port Richey, FL, formerly of 40 Sherbrook Ave, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at her daughter's home in Port Richey.
Her husband, H. Carter Hokanson, died in 1982. She leaves a son, Alan R. Hokanson of Shrewsbury, a daughter, Donna L. Hokanson of Port Richey, 2 grandchildren, Dr. Craig A. Hokanson of Shrewsbury and Rhonda L. Hokanson of Shrewsbury and Jupiter, FL., 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Hokanson was born in Worcester, daughter of Klaus and Alma (Lindegren) Johnson, and lived in Worcester until moving to Florida in 1991. Her brother, Holger Johnson predeceased her.
She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester. She was a member
of Belmont Street Baptist Church as well as Jasmine Baptist Church of Port Richey.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4th at 11 AM in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, formerly Old Swedish Cemetery, Webster St., Worcester. Calling hours are 6 to 9 PM Wednesday, Dec. 3rd, in the funeral home.
