WESTBOROUGH Emily Caroline Mary (Hayter) Jackson, 95, formerly of Hyannis and Fairhaven, died Thursday, Sept. 2nd in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.
Her husband, Thomas Jackson died in 1985. She leaves two daughters, Jodi Dromgoole of Millbury and Jeremy Huffman of Colorado; a granddaughter, Erin Dromgoole of Millbury; a brother, William Hayter of Fairhaven. She is predeceased by four brothers, Norman, Stan, Charles and Clyde. She was born in England, daughter of Percy and Mary Hayter and came to the United States at six years old.
Mrs. Jackson graduated from Fairhaven High School in 1927 and worked for New England Telephone Co. for many years, retiring in the early 1970TM)s.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 11th in the Evangelical Congregational Church, on the corner of West Main and Church Streets, Westborough. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., both in Framingham, Ma. 01701. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
