WORCESTER Ethel G. (Simonds) Paris, 94, formerly of Worcester, died Sunday, Oct. 17th in Radius HealthCare Center, Millbury.
Her husband Eugene D. Paris died in 1969. She leaves a son, William F. Paris of Springfield; a daughter, Sheila M. Brown of Wells, Maine; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was born in Boston, daughter of Frederick and Julia (Ryan) Simonds and lived in Worcester from 1938 until moving to Millbury in 1988.
Mrs. Paris was a manager for the former R.H. White Co. in Worcester where she worked for 18 years, retiring in 1975. She was a volunteer for the Age Center in Worcester for 7 years and was a former member of St. BernardTM)s Church and St. Joan of Arch Church.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at noon in St. BernardTM)s Church, 228 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. JohnTM)s Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donorTM)s choice.
