Eva S. (Helie) Hackett, 98 died Monday, August 6, 2012 in the Millbury Health Care Center.
Her husband, Paul L. Hackett died in 2008. She leaves two sons, Robert P. Hackett and his wife, Josephine of Sutton and Richard L. Hackett of Millbury; five grandsons, Michael, Robert, Jonathan, Daniel and Jody; a granddaughter, Heidi; four great grandchildren, Derek, Thomas, Austin and Melanie Lee; three god children, Mildred, Jeffrey and Dawn; her childhood friend, Doris Swett; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Mabel (Garceau) Helie; an infant son, William and a grandson, James.
Eva was a Bell of New England in the New England garment industry. The family would like to thank the staff of the Parson Hill Nursing Home in Worcester and the Millbury Health Care Center for all their love and care.
Eva's Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 10th at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. There are no calling hours and the burial will be at a later date in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church c/o Pro Life Family Rosary, 59 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527.
