MILLBURY Florence B. (Bernier) Castonguay, 76, of 95 Elm St., died Saturday, Dec. 6th in her home, after being stricken ill.
Her husband, Leo R. Castonguay, died in 2000. She leaves a daughter, Mary Jane Marentette of Millbury and a son, David A. Castonguay of Hawaii; a brother, David Bernier of Grafton; two sisters, Helena Gagne of Worcester and Jeannette Cofsky of Sandwich; a step-sister, Theresa Knight of California; three granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Two sisters, Claire Auger and Yvette Vancelette recently predeceased her. She was born in Millbury, daughter of Albert and Clara (Betit) Bernier and lived in North Grafton many years, returning to Millbury four years ago.
Mrs. Castonguay was a cook at Crescent Manor Nursing Home in Grafton, for 22 years, retiring in 1989. Previously she worked at her husbandTM)s company, LeoTM)s Oil Service. She also worked at Edgewood Nursing Home in North Grafton, Wauskenut Mills and Tuperware Company.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 10th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9th in the funeral home.
