MILLBURY - Florence E. (Fitzpatrick) Laurie, 86, of Wheelock Avenue, died Sunday, June 2, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
Her husband, Frederick W. Laurie died in 1995. She leaves a daughter, Evelyn M. Jagielski of Millbury; a sister, Ethel Charbonneau of Marlboro; a granddaughter, Jane Jacques of Thompson, Ct.; three great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Grafton, daughter of Leo A. and Phoebe May (Blanchard) Fitzpatrick and has lived in Millbury for 52 years.
Mrs. Laurie was a member of the Auxiliary of the Charles F. Minney Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting and music.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., ( www.mulhane.com ). Burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery, Brookfield. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Lung Association of Central Mass. Inc., 1 Abbey Lane, Middleboro, Ma. 02346.
