Francis W. Anderson, formerly of Millbury, died peacefully Monday, April 21st in the Golden Living Center – Hermitage in Worcester.
His wife, Constance E. (Turcotte) "Connie" Giza Anderson, died last year. He leaves two step-children, Stephen P. Giza and his wife, Debbi of Paxton and Kathryn M. Blanchard and her husband, Joseph of Worcester, a step-daughter-in-law, Carol Giza of Acushnet; seven step-grandchildren, John R. Giza and his wife, Shelby of Attleboro, Brett C. Giza and his wife, Terri of Fairhaven, Kristen E. Picard and her husband, Nate of Fairhaven, Matthew J. Giza and his wife, Jen of El Paso, TX, Michael Giza of Watertown, Paul R. Blanchard of Holden and Kelley E. Blanchard, of Worcester; step-great grandchildren, Jayda E. Picard, Genevieve L. Picard, Jameson Picard, Taryn E. Giza, Gavin Giza and Matthew S. Giza; a cousin, Paul Little and his wife, Beverly of Millbury & Florida; nephews and nieces. He was born in Millbury and is predeceased by his parents, Francis W. and Violet (Little) Anderson and his sister, Barbara Akstin.
Mr. Anderson was veteran during the Korean War. He was a machinist at Worcester Gear Works before he retired.
Francis' funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial with military honors will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
