Francis X. Boucher, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 5th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Yvonne T. (Groleau) Boucher; three daughters, Barbara and her husband, James Johnson of Sutton, Lois and her husband Robert Hairyes of Millbury and Susan and her husband Steven Soekrasno of Arizona; two sons, Raymond and his wife Eileen Boucher of Hubbardston and Stephen Boucher of Millbury; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Bernadette Bilodeau of Oxford and Theresa Black of Holden; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, William and Marie (Lesley) Boucher and three brothers.
Francis was a plasterer for 37 years before he retired and was a member of the Bricklayers Union since 1949. He was a Navy veteran during WW II serving in the American and Asiatic-Pacific Theaters. He was a member of the Charles F. Minney VFW Post in Millbury, the Dudley-Gendron American Legion Post in Sutton and he was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Oxford.
His funeral service will held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Rev. Paul LaPalme will officiate.
A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service, in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
