MILLBURY – Francis J. Marlowe Sr., 84, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in his home surrounded by his loving family after a short illness on the birthday of his wife, Gloria M. (Kerswell) Marlowe who died in 1994.
He leaves one son, Robert P. Marlowe of Millbury; two daughters, April A. Demers and her husband, Kevin of Douglas and Kathleen A. Donais of Millbury; nine grandchildren, Kayliegh and Krystal Demers, Jeffrey and Danielle Donais, Robert, Ronald, Patrick and William Marlowe; three great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Carol Gremo of Webster. Francis is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Jane (McColl) Marlowe; two sons, Francis and Philip Marlowe; a grandson, Michael Marlowe.
Francis was a World War II Navy Veteran stationed at Pearl Harbor. He enjoyed the Red Sox, boxing and his dog, "Queenie".
Francis's funeral will be held Monday, Feb. 27th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., in Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26th in the funeral home.
