MILLBURY- Frank G. Bengtson, 74, of 76 Millbury Ave., formerly of Beach St., died Thursday, April 3, in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Florence A. (Stidsen) Bengtson; seven sons, James E. Bengtson, A. Gunnar Bengtson, Frank W. Bengtson Jr. all of Millbury, Jon A. Bengtson of Douglas, David R. Bengtson of Milford and Erik N. Bengtson of Oxford; three daughters, Gayle M. Gareri and Linnea E. Crossman both of Millbury and Christina V. Pelletier of Charlton; his mother, Maxine (Yale) Bengtson of Millbury; a brother, James C. Bengtson of Anaheim, Ca.; a sister, Maxine A. Fjellman of Millbury; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. His father, Frank A. Bengtson and his son, 1st Lt. Frank W. Bengtson predeceased him. He was born in Millbury son of Frank and Maxine (Yale) Bengtson and has lived in Millbury most of his life. He graduated from Millbury High School 1947.
Mr. Bengtson was a wire drawer at New England High Carbon Wire Company where he worked for 28 years, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of the First Congregational Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing cards
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5 in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. (

). Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 4 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Massachusetts Affiliate, Inc., 20 Speen Street, Framingham, Mass. 01701-4688.
